The Doha Jewellery And Watches Exhibition Kicks Off Its 20th Edition today with a huge line-up of luxury brands taking the Qatari capital by storm.

Taking place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre, the exhibition will feature exclusive jewellery and showcase exquisite craftsmanship.

Featuring luxury watches, necklaces, rings, earrings, diamonds, gold and silverware, organisers say the exhibition will host 30,000 visitors from over 175 countries.

Jewellery aficionados and top designers will be in attendance at the must-see exhibition, along with a who’s-who of internationally renowned celebrities such as supermodel and TV personality Irina Shayk and French football icon-turned-sports broadcaster Thierry Henry.

With 15 countries participating, 500 brands and daily industry talks, the event which lasts until Feb 11, is for pros and fans alike.

Brands both international and local will be showcased, including the iconic Al Fardan Jewellery, Al Majed Jewellery, FerriFirenze, Fifty One East, Al Muftah Jewellery, Bulgari, Mouawad and Patek Philippe.

Show highlights include the unveiling of Bulgari’s Imperial Spinal necklace, featuring the fourth-largest spinel in the world by carat weight, weighing in at 131.21 carats. Mouawad’s offerings this year are inspired by the seven wonders of the world.

In a global collaboration, Al Fardan Jewellery will be hosting Dolce & Gabbana at the event with the Italian design powerhouse showcasing its Alta Gioielleria jewellery collection and its fine watch range, Alta Orologeria.

The Khaleeji favourite Al Fardan will also be highlighting an exclusive bridal collection from Butani, a collection of fine jewellery from Robert Wan, and visitors will also get to see the grand unveiling of Tiffany & Co’s ‘Bird on a Pearl’ collection.

Artisanal talent will also take centre stage at the show. Local brands like Ghand, run by sisters Hissa and Jawaher Al Mannai whose speciality is to repurpose jewellery, alongside others such as Nouf Jewellery, which blends East and West with its modern culturally inspired collection.
