Dubai International Boat Show Back With A Bang
For owners and aspiring sailors alike, the Dubai International Boat Show will be back this month.
Opening on February 28 until March 3, the show will see a huge showcase of not only luxury yachts but guests can get a taste of all things luxury lifestyle from supercars to aviation as well as the latest innovations in the marine industry.
The region’s biggest show of its kind, it has become a key feature on the Dubai calendar, attracting the likes of royals, oligarchs and the world’s super-rich.
Superyacht Avenue will be home to the show’s biggest yachts from some of the world’s leading builders.
Held at the new Dubai Harbour which boasts a capacity of 1,100 berths for superyachts up to 160m (524.9ft), the event expects in excess of 30,000 visitors.
Not only an event for boat lovers, but entertainment for all the family makes it the perfect day out by the water. From watersport activities to diving expos, retail, food and drinks, and industry conferences, the event offers a huge array of things to do.
DIBS offers a variety of nautical experiences like the Dive MENA Expo and dive pool, highlighting diving experiences and underwater technology, as well as an extensive watersports showcase and the essential ESS (Equipment, Supplies, and Services).
Visitors can witness a stunning array of state-of-the-art yachts, each showcasing the latest in nautical design and technology. This exhibit is a testament to the industry’s innovation and craftsmanship. Last year’s event showcased a diverse array of more than 200 boats both on land and in the water.
Since its inception in 1992 when it was called the “Watersports & Powerboat Show”, initially held indoors at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the boat show has become one of the industry’s most prestigious events.
From 3,000 visitors to 30,000, the show continues to grow. With its 30th edition, visitors can expect more than ever from aviation and supercars to high-end fashion and marine-inspired art.
The event’s growth over three decades not only highlights its significance in the maritime sector but also illustrates its role in shaping Dubai’s international identity.
