Could this Parisian-French icon become the hottest spot in DIFC?

World-famed club Raspoutine is where Dubai’s well-heeled go to party…

From the grimy streets of 1965’s Paris to the perfectly polished streets of 2022’s Dubai International Financial Centre, new restaurant and club Raspoutine is turning heads for all the right reasons.

Having been an institution on Paris’ late-night party circuit for more than 50 years, Raspoutine has since expanded to Los Angeles and Miami, before squaring in on the Emirates and opening in September, 2022. Owned in a partnership between Paris Society, Logan Maggio and Alexander Ghislain, Raspoutine is touted as a ‘secretive environment where entry is reserved to the few’. At the heart of the OG brand’s DNA is the music: electrifying deep house, polished, sharp, and sensuous.

In Dubai, Raspoutine is headed up by Tony Habre’s Addmind – the team who’ve brought us some of the city’s most iconic drinking and dining establishments, including DIFC neighbours Sucre and Clap. It has similarly pitched itself as an extravagant experience, home to ‘a select crowd of celebrities, tastemakers and jetsetters’.

Swathed in red velvet, the dining room harks back to the glamourous Paris of yesteryear with antique chandeliers and stained glass windows in true Raspoutine style.

The restaurant’s menu, meanwhile is as opulent as its surroundings.  Inspired by the ‘fantasy of a Tsar’s table’ its dishes offer a fusion of elevated Russian and French cuisine with options such as caviar-topped spaghetti, Artic king crab, duck and foie gras pelmeni dumplings, wagyu beef pirozhki, and a selection of decadent desserts.

By midnight, the lights are dimmed and the space evolves from a vibrant restaurant to a nightclub destination, reminiscent of the original Paris flagship – a hedonistic dream paved in red velvet where deep-house signature beats provide the soundtrack to the night.

Raspoutine is open from Tuesday to Saturday serving dinner from 8pm to 11.30pm. The club stays open until 3am. For bookings, call (0)4 272 5373.
